Friday 11th May 2012:

Variable cloud and mild with a fresh westerly breeze overnight. The morning to observation has seen a few brighter spells and a light shower with the temperature falling to the minimum for the 24 hour period.

The rain yesterday continued through the night, eventually dieing out around 04:00 GMT. Very mild though, low just 13.5c. The day dawned cloudy, muggy and damp. At observation, overcast, dull and damp, feeling warm. The day remained overcast with only brief brightness, though feeling warm. Breezy. There was a short light shower around teatime followed by broken skies.

Quite a change in T and Td today from the heady heights of yesterday, the Td got to almost 15C here, its now back at 4C, and the wind has returned to its preferred quadrant, namely north of west.
