Thursday 24th May 2012:

Dry overnight, clear for a time, low cloud moved in from the east through the early hours, to make for a cloudy start. The morning was mostly cloudy up to observation, though turning much brighter with the cloud thinning while taking readings. Hazy.

Fine and clear overnight, low 8.3c. Sunny from the word go this morning with wall to wall sunshine, warming rapidly. The day continued dry and mainly sunny, feeling quite hot through the afternoon, top temperature 25.9c. The evening remained fine and warm.
