Copley 5th December, more snow and my mole.

Hi, All,
A bit more snow overnight, again as forecast. My resident mole that no-one seems able to frighten away has now upended my grass min!

Met O site, current 5th 10:20Z, Wind NW 17KT(Bft 5), vis >10 miles, few clouds, temp -0C dew -3C, 1009mb rising.

09Z-09Z 5th December 2012
Copley Lead Mill 218m
Max 3.5C min -1.9C snow 6cm
Copley Met O site 253m
Max 4.4C min -1.3C grass -3.0C (grass thermo disturbed by my pet mole and under snow), rain 0.7mm(snow converted), sun 4th 4.0hr, snow 3cm, fresh 1cm.

... No snow and no moles! But I've got the same problem with blackbirds rooting about and dislodging the grass min. In all my years using a standard grass min., this is the first year I've had several instances of such interference.
