Cornwall - sharp temperature gradient

Postby Graham Easterling » 2013 Jan 18, 10:50

Currently (10:40 on 18th) 2C at Newquay, 8C in Penzance (where it's still & fairly sunny) 10C on Scilly.

We did have 26.5mm of rain overnight, with a minimum temperature of 6.2C after a max of 9.2C yesterday. The wind graph at http://www.landsendweather.info/ (click 'here') is quite interesting. The SE gale came to an abrubt end.

It does now look as if the cold air will finally reach us over the week end, and possibly bring a few sleet/snow flurries off the sea.
