1pm at St James's Park, London on 31st a quick rise to 23.5C at the climat. station and hundreds of office workers lying / sitting in the warm sunshine. The high cloud cleared around the middle of the day. Though the site is quite sheltered, the whole area around the enclosure was in the shade at the time due to the low sun angle. I should add that hourly temps at the official network in London are quite uniform on most days, despite what some might say about warm sites, though I share Stephen's concerns about Gravesend!

(I see there's still only the same regulars posting here - a real shame after a day like Friday).
