February 2015 - The First Half

Postby Nick Gardner » 2015 Feb 14, 19:07

Feb 2015 (1st - 14th)
Mean minimum = 0.3°C
Mean maximum = 7.7°C
Mean = 4.0°C
Rain = 10.8 mm
Sunshine = 52 hours.

So far it has been a cold, quiet, dry and reasonably sunny month. No snow seen falling.

As pointed out in another post, such a contrast to last year's February:
Feb 2014 (1st - 14th)
Mean minimum = 3.6°C
Mean maximum = 9.9°C
Mean = 6.8°C
Rain = 101.0 mm
Sunshine = 45 hours.

It was a warmer and much wetter first half of February last year but sunshine levels were not disimilar.
