Sunny start to March 2015

Postby Nick Gardner » 2015 Mar 08, 20:32

This has been a rather sunny start to the first week of March/spring:

March 2015 sunshine:
1st = 8.0 hours
2nd = 8.6 hours
3rd = 7.8 hours
4th = 10.1 hours
5th = 6.3 hours
6th = 8.9 hours
7th = 8.0 hours.

Total for the first week of 58 hours.

Sunshine levels have been high since last October, is this a pattern that will continue? I hope so!

You're making me jealous, Nick -just 11.4hrs here in Stornoway for 1st-8th March inclusive. I haven't seen such a high NAO beginning to March (with high close to south coast of British Isles) since 1990.

I'm about to post something on recent Stornoway weather, so I'll leave it at that for here!
