April dryness

Postby Len Wood » 2015 Apr 23, 19:26

Have had 20 rainless days here to 23rd.
Total of 8.4 mm.
The forecast is for the dry period to end tomorrow, but I am sure it will still be a significantly dry and sunny April here in Wembury.

An very dry month so far here continuing a drier than average spell of weather that started last December.

April rainfall total to 6pm this evening (24th) stands at 5.4 mm with the last rainfall occurring on the 11th with 1.6 mm.

There have been 20 dry days.

I've noticed that the grass is starting to turn brown in places.
