The attached diagram comes from the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assessment report:

It gives the radiative forcing terms in the climate change debate.

The level of confidence column is interesting.
The upper limit for cooling due to clouds and aerosols is -1.33, but they really don't know.
The lower limit for warming due to CO2 is about 1.33,
so the two could cancel each other out.

It all makes any future projection of climate very dodgy.
