Winter rainfall now 200% of average

Here in Dorchester, following another 9.9mm overnight into this morning the winter rainfall has now reached 200% of the average and amounts to 619.7mm. This beats the previous record by more than 110mm in a data set back to 1896.

The February total now stands at 154.0mm - the highest since 1990 at 188.2mm.

The winter mean temperature is currently 6.66C - the warmest since 2006/7 at 7.15C
The warmest winters of the last 50 years are 1988/9 (7.25C) and 1974/5 (7.45C).

Not quite 200% of the winter rainfall here but very near with 452 mm, that's 193% of my eLTA winter rainfall of 234 mm.

February total now at 138 mm.

The winter mean temperature here now stands at 7.1°C with February likely to end up the warmest month of the winter (currently at 7.4°C).
