We are pleased to announce this year's annual COL members' meeting will be held in York on 11 October.

We hope to see as many members as possible at this year’s COL Annual Members meeting, which will be held in the Priory Street Centre in York on Saturday 11 October. By popular request we are holding this year’s meeting in the north of England, so please show your support and come along: it’s a great opportunity to meet other members!

The planned schedule of activities (including our AGM) includes two talks and three shorter presentations by members on the theme of ‘my weather station’. The expected timetable is shown below.

If you are a current COL member, there is no charge to attend. Members may bring one guest free of charge. Non-members are welcome to attend (a £10 registration fee will apply), but please note that only current COL members are eligible to vote in the AGM.

The venue address is Main Hall, Priory Street Centre, 15 Priory Street, York, YO1 6ET (map: ). It is a short walk from York station.

Please note that there is no car parking at the venue. Due to limited and expensive car parking in York it is strongly recommended that attendees make use of the very good park and ride facilities on the outskirts of York if coming by car. (Members over a certain age with bus passes may even be able to avoid the ride fare - parking is free!) Details can be found at:

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided together with water and soft drinks, and there are ample facilities nearby for those wishing to obtain lunch or other refreshments.

Within the venue there will be tables and poster boards should members wish to bring items for display.

Save the date in your diary now: Saturday 11 October 2014. We hope to see you there!
