Thank you to all members who completed the first COL questionnaire. The response to date has been excellent, with over 150 responses logged so far, and more still coming in.

As previously indicated, this second survey focuses on what you like - or don't like - about the current bulletin, and is now open:

Second online COL survey:

The survey is anonymous, so please be honest. It takes about 6-8 minutes to complete. You don't have to answer all the questions, but obviously the more responses we get, the more representative and useful the findings will be.

You may find it useful to have a current copy of the monthly bulletin handy, as the questionnaire seeks your views on the individual components within the bulletin. You may also wish to give some thought before completing the questionnaire as to what, if anything, you’d like to see changed in the bulletin.

The results from both surveys will be summarised at the annual members meeting in November.

Both questionnaires will remain available online until 1 September 2012. This notice will also be distributed by e-mail and included in the next monthly bulletin.

The FIRST survey is here:

If you have already completed the first survey, you should not do so again. If you have not done so, it is not too late to do so.

Please let us have your inputs! Thank you in anticipation.

A really strong response to the second survey so far - thank you to the 76 members who have contributed within the last 24 hours.

There's some really great suggestions in there. The more the merrier - keep them coming please!

The results of both surveys will be summarised in the 2012 annual COL members meeting which will take place on Saturday 10 November in Reading Town Hall. The meeting agenda and booking form were issued with the May bulletin, and are also available on the COL website here:

Hope to see you there!
