27th July 2014 - Heat & humidity leaks away...

Postby Nick Gardner » 2014 Jul 27, 19:21

Just as I was starting to get used to our new 'Tropical' climate the heat and humidity ebbed away during today. Yesterday evening it was too hot to be indoors and the evening was warm, humid and calm; more like those I remember from the Med. That lovely warmth & humidity has gone this evening and for the first time in a while we'll be eating dinner indoors!

Weather station readings at 20:15
26th July 2014: 23.5°C, RH 68%, DP 17.0°C, Wind calm, 1017 hPa (R).
27th July 2014: 18.1°C, RH 67%, DP 11.8°C, Wind 8 mph NW, 1017 hPa (S).

Just a few degrees higher/lower of temperature and dewpoint makes all the difference.
