5 July - marked sea-breeze, Berkshire

Postby Stephen Burt » 2013 Jul 05, 21:12

A very well-marked sea breeze here this evening at 1750 UTC, the first of this year: warmest day of 2013 to date, at 25.2°C in the screen and 24.9°C aspirated.

Sharp rise in dew point (3 degC in 10 minutes, up to 17.0°C), a 'nose' on the temperature fall, and an abrupt veer and strengthening of the wind to steady SSW, from a light variable mainly SE'ly.
