First Dry Day of January 2014

Postby Nick Gardner » 2014 Jan 29, 20:04

A miracle happened today - it didn't rain!

The 29th was the first day without any rainfall since the 28th December. It was also the coldest day of January to date with a maximum of 'just' 7.9°C.

Rainfall total now at 180 mm, that is 220% of my eLTA and if the forecast for Friday comes true then it could be the wettest month I have ever recorded - anywhere.

Despite all the rain it has been a reasonably sunny month with a sunshine total (1st - 29th) at 76 hours.
