My dry spell was 12 days broken yesterday ( 20th) the vernal equinox by coincidence.

Rather typical Spring weather now with 'April' showers in a crystal clear Polar maritime air mass.

My March total thus far is 31.6 mm.

March average in these parts is 78 mm.

13 day dry spell here Len, 7th-19th inclusive. As you say, great visibility today - makes a nice change. Attached pic of the St Ives AWS site at the NCI lookout also 1 of a rainbow associated with a shower over Godrevy. Both taken around 14:30 today.

43.1mm of rain up until 09:00 today, though 23.0mm of this fell on 2nd.

Just had some hail as the showery trough went through.
