13th March 2014 - First Well Defined Sea Breeze of the Year

Postby Nick Gardner » 2014 Mar 13, 19:29

Another cloudless/fogless day here from dawn to dusk giving 11.0 hours of sunshine.

Temperature reached a maximum of 18.5°C at 13:45 in light wind conditions just before a sea breeze set in. The wind direction swung around from a general notherly flow to SSW and increased from 4 mph to 10 mph and brought about a drop in temperature heralding the arrival of the sea breeze.

Today was the warmest day of the year so far and the warmest day since the 17th October (21.0°C).
