30th March 2014 - Warm Night & Sunny Day.

Postby Nick Gardner » 2014 Mar 30, 18:17

The overnight minimum temperature only went down to 11.6°C last night. From 03:45 the temperature rose reaching 12.6°C at 04:15 (see below). These are far higher than anything I have ever recorded for March high minimums.

Unbroken sunshine all day with a slight haze to the sky with a maximum of 16.4°C and 11.3 hours of sun. There was a faint halo and two sundogs this afternoon (Saharan dust in the high atmosphere?).

Cars and windows of the house have a coating of pale golden dust on them though there was no rain in the gauge this morning so the shower that deposited the dust must have been light and very brief.
