CR10X and a Rain gauge

PostPosted: 2013 Nov 05, 15:13

I am currently trying to connect an ARG 100 rain gauge to a Campbell Scientific CR10X. Connections are fine and I can see each time that the bucket tips. However, it will not record the total as it should as the only option through Short Cut.

Has anyone any experience of this type of setup, and are there any little quirks I should know about please?

I wold greatly appreciate any advice to resolve the problem.

Best wishes

Mike

Mike,

Here's the snippet of code used on my CR10X to connect to a TBR. I've deleted all the intervening code for the other sensors, but I think this should work on its own ...

Thank you so much for that. I now have something to compare my own code to.

Thanks for the code. It has helped me work out where the problem was. All functional on the rain gauge front now.

Best wishes
