Calculation of RH

Postby Mike Brown » 2013 Sep 26, 10:20

Has anyone any experience of calculating RH and/or dew point within a computer program? I currently do it using the Vaisala calculator downloaded from http://forms.vaisala.com/LP=434?_kk=hum ... tAodqGAAQQ, and used on a spare iPhone. I would like to include it within my existing weather station program.

Thanks

Mike

Mike

If you go to my website and click on the 'Humidity Calcs' button situated at the bottom of the home page then you just put in your wet/dry bulb dry readings and it will calculate the RH.

Not quite automated but it was the best I could do!

I suppose the code could be written as a script in Excel making it 'semi' automatic.

Thanks. It was that sort of thing that I was hoping to do within my program, but the code/forumula etc is not readily to hand. I was just wondering if it was to save me a lot of time. Did you get the code from somewhere or did you create it yourself?

Best wishes

Mike
