Scotland is a wonderful country for travel. Edinburgh is outstanding, and its hostels are many and varied. Glasgow is interesting, its hostels are mixed in character, do read our reviews of them first. But the real Scotland is the magnificent scenery, and the hostels spread over the Highlands are mostly good.
